Good morning, it is such a
beautiful day in the Capital city of Zambia – Lusaka. The sun is shining bright
and the sky is blue. As usual, Tuesday is always an interesting day for Zambia
Tourism Agency as this is the day that we host our Let’s Explore Show on ZNBC
at 18:15hours. On Today’s show we talk to Charity Salasini (Director - Copperbelt
Museum) and Kunda Mulenga Mbewe (Tourism Promotion Officer – ZTA). We also have
featured interviews from Mweembe Sikaulu (Communications and Brand Manager –
Zambia Airports Corporation) and also from the man in charge of the
construction of the KK international Airport.
Charity Salasini (Director - Copperbelt
Museum) will be with us in Studio telling us about the Mailoni brothers as a
Tourism attraction. These brothers were murderers and had terrorized people in
the central province of Zambia. They attacked everyone they came into contact
with and killed many in the process, some of the weapons they used included
axes, spears and catapults. Four of these brothers were eventually killed and
one of them abandoned his brothers because he did not want to be involved. Charity
Salasini will be explaining what she found as she went through the trails of
the Mailoni brothers.

We also get an update on the two
traditional ceremonies that took place on Saturday 27th August, the
Kulamba and the Likumbi Lya Mize – Both were a success. The Ukusefya of the
Bemba will be this Saturday 3rd September.

an update on when the construction of the airport will be done. Mweembe will
also give us what to expect from the new airport and all the facilities we will
be able to enjoy there.
Kunda Mulenga Mbewe will be telling
us about Zambia Tourism Agency’s Social Media and how you can get in touch with
us.
